brand design | teacup vintage
Do you guys remember when I quit my job in advertising to start a vintage shop? Three and a half years ago? Life is crazy! But in the best way. I am finally in a place where I can start realizing this dream and (drum roll!) I am planning on launching Teacup Vintage on Etsy and Whurl next month! I’m starting with a small line of fall/winter pieces, and will continue to grow from there. I have been hard at work branding this project and wanted to share it with you! Hopefully it gets you as excited as I am!
Teacup Vintage comes from my intense love of tea and vintage (easy!). I had a vision for the logo those three years ago, and reached out to a local artist (and my tattoo artist), Laura Graham, to help bring this vision to life. She created a gorgeous paper cutout for me of three stacked teacups with a folk art flare. That cutout was the jumping off point for the logo and brand design. I want the brand to be fun, colorful, 60’s/70’s inspired — all of my favorite things about vintage.
Look for the above pieces and more in just a few short weeks! I’ll be keeping you updated here and via Instagram on the launch. Thanks again to everyone for your support and encouragement! This is a passion project for me, but I am hoping it will open doors that I don’t even know exist!
